Hi! I am Mady, owner and lead planner of MM Events.  My passion for events stems from my love of cooking and the ability of a gathering to bring family and friends together. Growing up in a household where the holidays consisted of a 30+ person guest list, my love for a good party was learned early on. I am a true candy enthusiast, lover of over-sized dogs, and all things red wine and cheese (baked Brie anyone?).

After working nearly every behind the scenes job in the event industry (think wedding cakes, catering, lighting install, florals, you name it…I’ve done it!) I decided to jump right into the planning stages and haven’t looked back since! With my experience coordinating over 100 weddings as well as rehearsal dinners and weekend long corporate retreats, I understand all the moving parts that go into making these incredible memories come to life!

Hey there, I’m Margaret but everyone calls me Mar! I'm lead assistant of MME. With a degree in art, I have a real appreciation for anything creative, making those Pinterest worthy details come to life. I love creative spaces, custom signage, and all things calligraphy. My favorite part about the wedding day is the look on the groom's face when he sees his bride for the first time. Most days you can find me exploring the world with my husband and better half, Brad.  I live for stretchy yoga pants and a good cup of espresso. I have a full head of curls that sometimes have a life of their own.

We have a two year old 150 pound brother named Bubba. He is the cutest Bernese mountain dog you’ve ever seen!

we have a slight obsession with candles. our personal fav, Anthroplogie's Capri blue. It's dreamy! 

Both of us grew up playing basketball & soccer together and eventually both played in college at UCSB. (go gauchos!!)

You may or may not find us dancing like fools around the corner of your reception (you should see the music videos we made as children - pure gold)  

We are sisters! there’s also a third sister and she's a nurse in Chicago

Madeline is an awesome coordinator and I highly recommend her! I hired her for month-of coordination and am so grateful for all of her hard work. From the first time I met with her, I felt at ease and could see how much heart she puts into her work.
